Martin and his wife Julie are artists and shop owners, sewing, dyeing and selling their work in Laguna Beach California.
Originally from the Basque country of Spain, Martin and Julie are well known throughout Southern California and Spain for their collaborative work in one of a kind hand made and hand dyed clothing. Having made clothing for the Queen of Spain, Martin and Julie continue to receive awards from the American Craft Council for their outstanding creations and designs and have their work featured on the covers of magazines such as Fiberarts.
Often you will find Martin in the shop as well as Vicky his assistant. Julie is always busy in the studio but does stop by occasionally. Currently, Martin is an invited exhibitor at the Festival of Arts running through August 31st, 2007.
Since recently relocating to their new shop at 290 Forest Ave., they have added work by other acclaimed designers of handmade and hand dyed garment and accessories in a wide range of styles and sizes.
